Body Doubling

 

  “Body doubling is a productivity strategy in which another person works

   alongside you as you complete a task you might otherwise find                 challenging. Similar to an accountability buddy, the mere presence           of another person can often serve as motivation to stay focused and         complete tasks."

Body doubling works by using : Task implementation, social pressure, accountability, specific task direction, and activating neurotransmitters through behavior. Body doubling can be helpful for those with ADHD because it forces choosing a specific project, setting aside a specific time to do the work, and to be accountable to another person.
